We are reaching the most vulnerable groups in seven Sudanese states
Ashraqat was founded in 2022 as an independent, non-profit Sudanese civil society organisation, in response to the growing need for initiatives aimed at empowering women and girls and strengthening their role in development and peace-building.

To build safe and stable societies in which women and girls enjoy their full rights and participate actively in sustainable development, leadership, decision-making and inclusive peace-building.
Empowering women, girls and local communities through sustainable development and humanitarian programmes that promote community participation, health, education, capacity-building and social cohesion.
We place women at the heart of our development work so that they can lead change and build peace.
We are committed to full transparency and to sharing our management and financial reports to ensure the highest standards of integrity.
We believe in equal opportunities and everyone’s right to development and a decent standard of living, free from discrimination.
We involve the target groups in the design and planning of programmes to ensure sustainable ownership of projects.
We act as a bridge to foster communication and build peace between the various sections of society.
We value cultural and social diversity in Sudan and turn it into a source of strength and unity.
We design long-term programmes that leave a lasting impact, benefiting future generations.
We believe in integrating our efforts and fostering effective partnerships to achieve our shared development goals.
