About the Project

The “Peacebuilding – Dialogue Forum Series” project implemented (12) women’s dialogue forums inside and outside Sudan, with a total participation of 1,200 women and girls.

The project targeted women and girls from Greater Kordofan region (North, South, West), Khartoum State, as well as displaced persons and refugees in Uganda (Kampala), South Sudan (Juba), Libya, Egypt, and diaspora countries.

Targeted groups included: girls and young women, elderly women, displaced women, widows, female heads of households, women with disabilities, and rural, urban, working, and activist women.

The project aimed to:

  • Enhance women’s participation in dialogue processes and peacebuilding.
  • Develop a feminist strategic vision and a unified agenda.
  • Build a strong women’s network for coordination and networking among women’s organizations and leaders.
  • Document women’s experiences and analyze the impact of conflict and displacement on them.
